Hey guys !I finally got my hands on another semi-hermetic solid nickel WWI Illinois Watch Case Company case that was used by the US Army towards the end of the Great War ! ! !This particular case design is quite hard to come by (14mm thick lug version), it's only the 2nd one that I've had so that should tell you something.The dead giveaway to identifying this case is the lug design and the bezel configuration, very distinctive.The semi-hermetic seams/threading are in SUPERB condition.Nobody over the years has tried to open this case the WRONG way by prying it open, the bezel and case back screw on and off. (semi-hermetic)This latest one was in VERY poor condition when it first arrived and has obviously been neglected for many years.This case simply could not be left in it's current condition or the overwhelming corrosion would just eat it away down to nothing.This was rather unfortunate because it still had some of the original black case paint that was required by the United States Ar

What do members here think about the Longines Heritage
The one that is stainless steel and cushion shape. I rather like the watch and thinking of getting it. It is reasonably price to me. I never have Longines watch before
