Breitling A21330 wrist watches news:
The Parmigiani Fleurier HeadquartersOne would imagine that spending six full days with a watch brand is long enough to become comfortably acquainted with them and ask pretty much everything you want to know. That is true a lot of the time, but on this occasion, even after five nights of little sleep, nearly two thousand photos and many in-depth conversations, I feel a need to return and learn more. Nevertheless, I walked away with a new-found knowledge of history, watch making tradition and haute horology after checking out the Swiss brand, Parmigiani Fleurier, a world we bring you in two parts. In this article, we first discuss how Michel Parmigiani's ambitious undertaking and the generous help of the Sandoz family collectively resulted in a true manufacture. Next, we look at what it means to transform from a restoration workshop into a modern watch making company, heavily responsible for the future of the trade. Finally,?we discover how a few individuals and a company can be the bridg
My brand new Khaki Field Mechanical seems like it may be broken. I'm not sure so this is a more general question for our technical experts, does the crown winding system disengage once the watch is fully wound? Can you still turn the crown with no resistance or does the crown stop moving and lock?I need to know if I should return it to that OTV place OF COURSE. Seems they can't ship a watch that isn't broken IMHO.It's got a warranty card with it for that TMI or whatever place. The card is 1/2 in x 1 inch - literally. The type is so SMALL I need my loupe to read it. I'm not kidding. The repair place is in my old hometown of Brookyn, NY. which makes me NOT want to trust it even more.Any suggestions?

Hello!A little introduction from my side. Have been following the forums for some time now. Have been interested in watches since a few years and with my new job I'm stepping up the hobby a bit more. I'm interested in 1900-1950 American wristwatches. I'm now owner of a few Waltham's and a Elgin. All 7jewels. Bought my first 17jewel Waltham a week ago with the serial number; B13978. I've never had a Waltham with a letter in front of the serial. Can somebody explain my how to "read" these serials to determine the age?
I'm curious to know if 5711/1a owners or those familiar with the piece think that other Nautilus models give someone a decent idea about how the 5711 feels/wears. The context here is I am considering purchasing a 5711. As you're all aware though, you won't find any in an AD display. However I am curious to know how it'd look on my wrist, and how it'd look in the metal, specifically the dial. I've only tried on the 5711/1r and I love it, and I am very familiar with the AP 15202. But since I am considering selling a piece to fund the purchase, before selling anything, I'd like to know *for sure* that I want the 5711.
