Chopard 532825 wrist watches news:
The newest classic video game-inspired watch from Swiss Romain Jerome (RJ) is the Tetris-DNA, and it serves as yet another homage to a great 1980s-era video game. Tetris was actually a soviet game created in Moscow during the time of the USSR. Romain Jerome has already graced us with watches inspired by Space Invaders, PAC-MAN, and now, Tetris. In the future, more video game-inspired watches will come from Romain Jerome - we can promise you that.Romain Jerome now calls watches such as this which use their Moon Invader case style to be "Generational Icons." Romain Jerome had some interesting success with the "Titanic-DNA" watch that contained some metal actually collected from the Titanic. Even though the Titanic-DNA watch collection was controversial, it did spawn a lot of "DNA" watches. The goal of each is, of course, to contain some material from something special. That isn't possible with every type of watch that celebrates a unique and often important cultural icon, so Romain Jerom
I usually post on TimeZone - a few of us went to BaselWorld on Friday.John read my report and asked me to post it here as he thought you guys might be interested. Here we go...I am going to have to link to it though - as the HTML code on each forum works differently and there is too much work involved to re-format the HTML for each forum :-(It is a large post with a lot of large photos - so be careful your modems don't overheat! Here is the link:forums.timezone/index.php...6900&rid=11125All the best,Harry
Well, this is my first post here after discovering these forums a month or so back and lurking for a while, so I've decided to post after getting my Bell-matic back. After pretty much wearing this watch for most of my childhood years (and now looking back I'm very surprised it took the beating that it did with me being an active kid and all), with it eventually sitting in a draw for another 7 (no idea why I suddenly stopped wearing it), I dug it out a few months back and sent it off for repair (unfortunately I took no before pics, kinda kicking myself as it would have shown the state it was previously in!). Yesterday I got it back and I'm very happy to be wearing it again. I also feel now at 17 I can appreciate it more (especially after doing a bit of research and finding that they're quite collectable) compared to when I was a kid at say 7 or 8 years old.If I'm honest, if it was any other watch I doubt I'd pay the amount I did to get it fixed, but it has a lot of sentimental value. It
I have an itch; my obsession with german engineering and precision is getting to me. Anyone have any good references on some relatively reasonably priced B-uhr replicas (or something similar). Obviously, Laco makes some pretty good ones for around $500, but I'm in search of a few more. The Christopher Ward C8 looks promising as well. How about opinions on the "luftwaffe" vintage watches that are sold on ebay?
Is there anything better than a picture with some great photoshopping and the perfect caption? Here it is in a signature-appropriate size:
