Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 22181 wrist watches news:
I previously owned a 009 but made the mistake of letting it go so it had to be replaced only this time I figured I would have a 007.The postie kindly delivered it today When I owned the 009 it came with a Seiko Z22 strap and I never found it comfortable at all to wear, the rubber strap that came on the 007 is soft and very feels nice on the wrist and makes me wonder if the one that I had before was a knock of strap. The rubber strap did not matter so much because it was still coming off so I could fit the mesh that I owned with the 009 previously and I set about putting it on this watch. Seiko shoulderless fat bars are a nightmare to remove, I had read a few posts and some owners had just given up and cut the strap just so they could get at the bars. I must have spent a good 30 minutes trying to get the strap off, I think I found some new ways to verbally abuse strap changes before I finally won the battle and I think it was worth the effort because the mesh looks awesome on this watch
I'm wearing what is arguably my most stylish and reliable watch. My Pacer arrived running, showing the correct time and has not stopped yet. It's needed minor corrections over the course of the year but otherwise it's been dead reliable.
Just arrived yesterday. Still need to get the bracelet sized.Tech SpecsOrient Star Retrograde- 4o hour power reserve-Sapphire Crystal with anti-relflective coating-Movement-ORIENT caliber 40A50 Made in Japan [22 jewels | 21600/hour vibrations]-Diameter 39.5mm without crownPicturesVery nice padded boxSubtle dial work. Orient offers the choice of a black dial or this cream dial. I chose the cream hoping that it would show more of the dial decorations and it looks like I was right.Closer look. I only had time ( I was rushed ) to take 1 picture, but this was taken with my $2 macro clip on lens on an old Samsung Galaxy SII phone.I thought it turned out pretty well. With more time and better light/tripod, I know plenty more pictures are coming.Let me know what you think.
