- I love stars and ordered the green watch. The band is stretchy and the bright stars on the face of the watch are fabulous. I'm thinking of ordering another color.

This is a Illinois Hawthorne. If one ever wondered what a TRUE tank watch is, then examine one of these up-close sometime. It actually resembles an Army Tank from the side. My Hawthorne has a original snowflake/sparkle dial and a 17 jewel movement. This case was originally advertised as a Arlington if it had a 15 jewel movement.
I wanted to see if I can get some help.I am working on a project and would like to ask Patek fans / collectors if you would email me pics of your Patek (or pics of your favorite Patek). I am looking for pics of new, old, vintage, etc. that I could use for this project. If you do send the pics, understand that they will likely be reproduced, therefore you must have the rights to the pics and be willing to grant me use of the pics. I will not use your name, email, screen name, etc. I simply want the pics and no one would know who the pics came from. Only the PICS and reference #'s would be shown. That said, if you have any pics, please email me at patekpics @ iforia . com (be sure to remove the spaces).I appreciate your help.Calfee
First off I didn't lose my job (I had another lined up anyways)...although I may get a pay cut. I also found out I'll be getting a bonus of sorts $4k. Some of you may also know I've been putting away $500/month for next years purchase, sometime this year.So I'm asking for suggestions, BUT I don't want to spend more than $2500. My previous list included:Speedy Pro - but I've tried them twice and don't like, plus I'm trying to stay away from chronos.Breitling- I love my new SO and am thinking about getting one in blue, still avoiding chronos.Longines Legend Diver- I just really like the simple looks of this watch, plus the 300m WR.Anyhow throw me your ideas...help me plan what to look at and spend the dough on. Hopefully next fall or winter I'll have my mind made up...if I last that long.
Would I lose a lot? Just wanna have the option to cash out in case I need the money for stocks etcBackstory: I just put my name down in the list for the 114060 a while back. Just a bit worried that I might regret after a few years and get tired of it hahaMy usage would probably be on fridays and weekends only
