It's amazing what you find when you're looking for something else! I found it yesterday while rummaging through some keepsakes. This Hilton Magic Dial was my father's Sunday and Special Occasions watch.

Ok....this is a serious question!
I have first reserve on a MS ti that should arrive at the dealer later this year, however, since Conkers posted pics of his platinum 44mm I've been thinking about this a lot and it seems that with the new price structure there is only about 7/8k difference between the two.I only want 1 watch in the 44mm size as I like the 42mm but 1 big watch won't hurtThe question is which would you guys get, I don't flip my watches so this question is simply...which is the nicer looking or cooler watch in your opinion?

Am I Crazy for Liking the Moon to Mars Edition?
Just picked one up - seems the consensus on these is that they're not particularly cared for among Speedy enthusiasts.I'm not necessarily a purist, but I like keeping things original, generally speaking. The watch came like this from the factory, so I'm fine with it.Mine in particular has a nice reddish hue to the Mars subdial, which I like better than some of the other pictures I've seen.I think the piece is super neat. Am I alone in this thought process?

New member to RF so wanted to first say hi and introduce myself. Have been a longtime collector but recently picked up my first Patek. Over the past year and a half I have been fortunate to add an AP 15450 (I have smaller wrists) and a Lange Langematik Big Date to my collection and thought I was satisfied with things. I have a deposit down on a new 60th anniversary Speedmaster as I like the size relative to the current Speedy's and thought that would be the end of it (for a good while at least). I resigned myself to making the decision to proceed but knowing it would be a while before my number was called. My 1st Rolex
Have been collecting watches for a few years and have never had Rolex in my radar. Until 2-3 years back when I was smitten by images of the shiny Cerachrom in Blue and Black. That's when my whole finances went haywire because I've set out to clear away much of my small watch collection and saved up to coincide my 1st Rolex purchase as a 40th birthday gift to myself, this year.And so on my recent holiday visit to my best friend in Chicago (I flew in from Malaysia a few days earlier), I waited patiently on the delivery morning, then lo and behold, the Fedex delivery guy was on time to ring the bell to drop off the Rolex box. It was a BNIB full set, bought from a reputable reseller (denmanproject). He's been a wonderful person to deal with, great buying experience. Having had a Tudor Pelagos before, which I find is an amazingly made piece but easily scratched (because of the Titanium), I like the Rolex Oystersteel even more.
