Caliber 28,10 RA Movement
I discovered this forum yesterday when I tried to determine some history for an Omega Automatic watch that my mother gave me. It was her second husbands watch. I did as much research as I could online. Thank you to the members of this forum for your input. I ran accross a Omega Automatic watch which was very close to my watch, as far as serial numbers, etc. The serial number to my movement is 10817664. The serial number to a watch that i found online is 10814725. Both cases are Wadsworth and the serial numbers of the cases are very close too.I can not find anything on either of these two movements that looks like a reference number. Both movements are identical except for the serial number, and they are very close in their serial numbers. The other watch is identified as having a Caliber 28,10 RA movement. Can I safely assume that my watch has the same movement because they are identical in appearance and so close in serial numbers? Apparently the Caliber 28,10 RA movement i

General question about modern autos
I should know this by now...Are there any conditions where it is harmful to set the time backward? For instance, if the date just changed and you need to set it back an hour or two how will that affect the date?Are there any modern watches that shouldn't be set back?Thanks!

White or Blue 15300?
I know I know, this has been asked since the dawn of time.Ultimately I will make my own decision, but I am interested in knowing what people on this forum think.I am downsizing some of my Rolex collection (ss/pt yacht + 16610lv) to pick up an AP RO 15300. I have always wanted a blue dialed watch, but I'm also drawn towards the white/silver. My main collection would be an Aquanaut 5167/1a and the AP. The main reason why I haven't pulled the trigger on the blue yet is because I think some day I would like to own the Nautilus 5711 and wonder if having 2 blue dials would be a little much. I'm a much bigger fan of the white RO than I am the white Naut.Anyone have any thoughts or comments on my predicament?

I apologize to all Orange bezel PO owners...
I've never really seen the appeal of the orange bezel, I have seen it in the stores a dozen times, but never thought that the orange could really work..Well, my theory of having to see a watch in the wild before judging it continues to hold true... Was at the mall yesterday with my wife, and spotted an absolutely stunning PO with orange bezel...I have to admit - it looked amazing - the orange seemed so much more subtle when there was a real world behind it to give it some context...So I offer my humble apology to anyone who has gone Orange....cleary you guys have made a great decision!would love to see some more in the wild pics...
