- I got this watch for my husband for his birthday. He wanted a Seiko watch but wasn't sure what one. I picked this one out without him knowing and he loves it. The time/date was easy to set but the wrist band was a bit .

Audemars Piguet 26561BC.OO.D002CR.01 wrist watches news:
Hello!I'm new here. I just purchased my first Omega, a Teak Grey Aqua Terra Chronometer 41.5mm. I LOVE the look of the watch and am really excited to own an in-house movement. I have ready many wonderful reviews of the 8500. However now that I have my piece I'm disappointed that it is running at the extreme end of the COSC spec at 6~7sec/day. I'm not sure what todo? Does it take time for the movement to settle down? The watch is 2 months old. I'm interested in others thoughts/experiences, especially other 8500 owners. I have read of others getting 1~2sec/day watches pretty routinely. However I'm hessitant to send it in and have it opened up and wait 6-8 weeks. Thanks for your advice.Andy
Like some of you I'm taken with the clever and audacious design of BRM watches. I like complex looking things with loads of tiny details and realize that they're more fashion than usable watch, but dayum, they're cool!So after seeing some decent photos of the CT-48 model:I decided to give it a go in 3D and create another step-by-step for WTF readers. This one, due to it's complexity and need for precision was begun using CAD tools (AutoCad and Inventor). Here's how it starts out with just a 2D line work layout using different layers for managing the separate parts.More details are added and some are left out as they'll be easier to create in other applications.Using the line work as a guide, and a source for creating extrusions and profiles, the 3D shapes are constructed. After about 8 hours, the watch is "completely" modeled. I only model the parts that show in a finished illustration, If you don't see it, I didn't model it. No reason to spent the effort and then have the extra data over
Let the weekend start...
Just returned from a trip to Geneva, the highlight of which had to be the PP museum. I was fortunate enough to be given a private guided tour which was absolutely fascinating. Not only PP watches but the entire horological history. If ever you are given the opportunity to visit, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Unfortunately no cameras allowed.A visit to the PP boutique followed, and after viewing the watches on the ground floor I was taken up to view the grand complications. There was even a sky moon tourbillon on display. From there I was taken up to the VIP suite on the 5th floor, where, no doubt fine champagne is quaffed while celebrating an important purchase. A great way to spend a few hours.
Cant seem to find it anywhere, and Rolex website is kinda hopeless
