- What's to say it's a great watch. It has a face, has a nice weight. I haven't test it in water yet but so far so good. Easy to setup, plus the price was right. Get it if you can.

Audemars Piguet 14635BA/002 wrist watches news:
Which resting position does yours seem to maintain the most accuracy? My TT3 it tends to run fast. Crown up, it gains the most. Crown down, it varies depending how much it is wound but it has lost a few here-there as it winds down. I've been letting it rest crystal down and this seems to turn in similar to crown up. In the week I've had it, I would say that on average, it gains about 15-18 seconds every 12 hours. It is the fastest mech in our household. The watch is still pretty fresh so after a spell, I hope it settles in.
Well, after much to-ing and fro-ing, I have chosen a new watch.I do want to save for another 'higher end' watch like the Sinn I love so much, but I needed a bit of retail therapy for my birthday, and if I didn't take advantage of the "okay you can buy a watch for your birthday" offer from the wife, it would expire (saving the money for a better watch was not an option). It should be here in about 1-2 weeks.Anyone care to guess what it will be?Here's a clue (or 2) - I didn't realize this type of watch was available as an 'analogue only' model, (no digital display), and it should be very rugged. It is also relatively cheap (price, not quality I hope)Guesses.....?
This is a 5-10x loupe with a difference - it comes with a bright LED light on the underside. The lighting makes a HUGE difference when it comes to looking at surface details. Every imperfection (including surface dust) is fully revealed under the even, white illumination. It's so good I don't think I'll use another loupe again.$3.20 shipped at dealextreme. At this price, everyone should own one and keep one as spare.Note: No affiliation to site. Just a satisfied customer. They do sell some watches, but they are mostly brandless multi-function geek variety (e.g. remote control cum timer).
I have a Rolex Explorer 1 and I have noticed that when gently shaking watch near my ear winding it with the automatic rotor I hear a click that sounds similar to the click when manually winding via the crown. Is this normal? It only clicks every few seconds and clicks faster if I shake or move it faster and it clicks no matter how slowly I rotate the watch so I think it¡¯s just the mansping being wound but am worried it could be the rotor being lose or some cog clicking that should be lubricated.Anyone else have the same noise or something similar? I have very sensible hearing so maybe it¡¯s me being crazy!
How many watches do I need?My father gave me my first Rolex (Gold DD36mm) when I graduated from college. He was a New Orleans homicide detective and my mother was a school teacher. I grew up the oldest of four children, so as you can imagine we didn't have much growing up. My parents always did without so that they could put us through private schools. Both of my parents were very big on education.I will never forget when my father pulled me to the side at my graduation party and handed me the box. When I opened it, I was totally blown away. He was very old school and believed every successful man should have a nice watch, pen and a handkerchief in his pocket at all times.I wore the DD for years as my every day watch, but saw the DJ36mm white dial with Roman numerals one day at the local AD. I loved the Roman numerals so I immediately purchased it. I began wearing it as my daily watch and would pull out the DD for special occasions. Being very happy with both watches, I never
