Hey guys!I just saw this on the bay and I felt physical pain in my stomach!Somebody took a sterling silver trench watch that has an integrated snap on shrapnel guard and they CUT most of the guard off so only the outside ring is showing ! ! ! ! ! !I guess they wanted it to look decorative or something.............I usually never comment about things I see on the bay but this is the WORST thing that I have EVER seen that has been done to a watch ! ! ! ! ! !Waltham Sterling Silver Watch OR250960641861These cases that still have the snap on guards are INCREDIBLY HARD to come by (especially in sterling silver), what in the world was the person thinking who cut it up ? ? ? ? ? ?ARRRGGGG ! ! ! ! ! ! ! I need a drink after looking at that picture ! ! ! !This is what the case SHOULD look like.

I have an Omega Constellation that I wish to send off to Jesse (Omega564) to get him to service and clean up for me, sounds simple.well not so if you live in Ireland.For the past few weeks I have been in a battle with the postal service in Ireland, first problem they refuse to insure my watch for me in the mail, they have a policy of no jewellery/cash can be insured I tried a few other methods to get the watch to Jesse, anyone travelling to the states and then maybe post it locally..not possible as people not prepared to carry someone else's sealed parcel. Understandable but annoying.Today I got really peeved with making so many phonecalls trying to sort it out that I decided to just post it and not care about insurance, just let my Connie run loose in the world and be at the mercy of the vultures that steal from the mail. I'm pretty impressed so far.......Breitling SOH content
I picked this guy up recently and have really been enjoying it. This is my first Breitling and I am thinking I got a pretty good bang for my buck with this one. My wife actually said that she likes this one the most out of all the nice watches I have owned and currently own. It's kinda funny considering this is probably the cheapest watch I have bought in years, but it does look amazing on the wrist. I was actually leaning towards the IWC Aquatimer when I noticed the SOH. I actually decided to buy both but then realised that the IWC had some wear marks since it had been in the case and tried on multiple times. They did not have any others in the safe so I said I would wait a bit and just enjoy the SOH. Well, now I don't think I even want the IWC, this has satisfied the itch that I was looking to scratch.The thing that made the Breitling win out over the IWC was the fact that, well, it looks amazing, but also, it has 24mm lugs.
