Audemars Piguet 15320OR.OO.D095CR.01 wrist watches news:
I have noticed that the Bond style GMT, 2535.80, is listed at $3650, while the new version, 2234.50, is about $1000 less. Why is that? Also, what is it about the GMT, in general, that makes it so much more than a regular automatic SMP? Is the movement that much more expensive, or is it just marketing? (or a little of both)Thank you.....
Well during a few test runs i have done, i have been wearing my GMTIIC!! Well at 265 mph i may have one of the fastest Rolex watches in the industry!Still working on my Ride schooling and qualifing! Everything is going great! I even had time to take my slow Z06 down the 1/4 mile and turned a 11.71! Driving my vette at 118 mph seems like a cake walk compared to the funny car!
This is not intended to be a cross post, I posted the same pictures in the American forum asking about the Gruen and here I want to know about the Voumard. Since there isn't a Vintage forum nor a Swiss forum, I thought this might be the best place. Feel free to move this thread if there is somewhere better.I am completely new to vintage watches and decided I wanted to buy some inexpensive watches to open and possibly work on, so I just bought these two on sale at a local antique market.100_2453.jpg100_2457.jpgI want to make sure that I didn't stumble upon a diamond in the rough. (I don't want to open something too valuable). Can anyone tell me about the Voumard in these pictures? The case looks great and it does move, but it may need a little love and grease. I'm thinking about trying to clean it up and use it as a dress watch. Thanks,Anthony
Hi guys,I have a 7,5 inch wrist and felt in love with Super Avenger. I tried it on at my AD and they told me that a Avenger would fit me better. IMO I can pull it of but still I am not sureWhat do you guys think about 7,5 inch and Super Avenger? Does anyone has a pic of Super Avenger on 7,5 inch wrist and what is your opinion? Thanks in advance.
So I have something arriving at 4pm today that has me really excited. Although of course I am a little nervous (having bought it unseen), hopefully I am not tempting fate by posting a teaser thread. Any ideas?
