Hi everyone. I'm looking to get my dad a watch, for under $1000. Which models would you recommend I look at? Also, can you briefly describe the pros and cons of your recommendations? It would be good if you can use layman terms, cause I'm a total watch newbie . Lastly, should I buy online, or from a store? It seems websites like watchzone are about 30-50% cheaper than stores, but is there anything I should watch out for? TIA.
from a rawfeed 2007 website report:Aston Martin is selling customers a Jaeger LeCoultre wristwatch that can UNLOCK AND START a 510hp Aston Martin DBS. The watch costs $35,000 which sounds like a lot until you consider that the only car it unlocks will set you back $332,000. It's enough to make even James Bond choke on his martini.
My AD called and my salesperson said that she had a deal for me...she wasn't kidding! Check out this beauty.know what it is yet???a little more obvious now...A 50th Anniversary Speedmaster 1/5957...and my happy little familyI love it and I practiacally stole it!!!
So I saw one of these in person on my last trip --- I've never seen one before --- and, of course I tried it on and had to really like it (shocker)I looked on the forum and don't see much about this watch. I don't recall seeing any incoming or really anyone asking about it.Have I just missed the threads or maybe I'm just the only one that likes it?? :)Love to hear some feedback on your thoughts...
