Silly little question to kick off the New Year...
So I have a friend here at work in my department, he's not much of a watch guy, he has a couple Citizens that he wears...that's cool, no big thing, not everyone is into expensive watches, and I happen to have a couple Citizens myself that I really like. What peaked my curosity though, is that we were talking about watches one day, and I don't remember exactly what he said, but he mentioned the chronograph function on his watch (although he didn't mention it by name) and I realized that he didn't fully understand the point of it. He keeps it running all the time, so it's in sync with the hours, minutes, seconds. I guess when he got the watch he waited until mignight and activated it and he's had it running ever since. I tried to explain to him the purpose of that function but he actually seemed to think it was a bit strange.
