Hey guys just wondering about the different rankings under everyones name, i.e. I'm a new member, than there is veteran member, junior veteran, god like veteran and so on. When does the status change? Can my transcripts be transfered from other forums to this one?

I pilfered this idea from Doug (BTW Doug, every time I try to type your name it comes out at Dough ) asking Joel what the method to his collecting is. I thought it would be a great idea for a thread. So naturally I steal the idea like a grown adult and ask everyone publicly; what are you doing with your collection? Maybe a picture of the majority of your collection and a brief paraphrase on what you're doing with it. Here is my most recent picture (missing about 12 pieces) of my collection.The method behind my madness left quantity and is now more about quality. Gruen is my favorite vintage and I love so many of their designs, so I collect them most heavily, but have really migrated to almost purely vintage. I haven't bought a modern watch in almost two quarters and haven't really found anything worth buying (that I can afford). I've decided not to buy a watch right now.
For those of you that already know about the question I asked a week ago about which watch I should get between the Citizen Eco drive 2100, Seiko Monster, Bulova Marine Star and the Swiss Army Ambassador automatic day/date, My birthday is this sunday and I thought long and hard about which watch I should buy between the four, That being said if this is a big if I do find something other than the watches I've listed I will buy it. But I'm 85% shore I'll hold off buying any watch right now. I'm I doing the right thing or should I just keep looking? Is it better to wait or I'm I making a mistake in not buying something else, I would really like to hear what you think?
