Cartier WE5002X2 wrist watches news:
In April of this year, while searching through an Antiquorum catalog, we discovered one of the coolest examples of one of the coolest watches of all time – a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso owned by none other than General Douglas MacArthur. We've always known the Reverso to be the choice of several great men, but it was unknown that General MacArthur in particular wore the watch. We knew the MacArthur Reverso would have its fans when it came up for sale, and we were right – it sold for over 87,000 CHF. What we didn't know at the time was that the watch would be purchased by the company that originally made it, and we would have the chance to see it in the metal some months later. 1 OF 2 As you can see, the mid-1930s Reverso, retailed Golay Fils & Stahl, features a rich black dial and lacquered monogramming on the case back that reads "D MAC A" – easily one of the coolest uses of a Reverso case back we've come across. The watch, interes

Hi allFirst of all thanks to all of you who replied to my thread with regards to choosing between a 5712 and a 5164. Really helpful comments.I got a msg from my AD about a week ago telling me that I had been allocated a 5712G that was to arrive on April 1.I still hadn't decided between the 5712G and the 5164. I told my AD contact I was probably leaning towards the 5164 however I didn't want to miss the opportunity to see the Nautilus in the flesh so in I go to check it out. I'm the first customer in the door. I look at the 5712G from every angle for quite a while. It's a beautiful piece but it just wasn't singing to me... I wanted to look cool like Paul McCartney and George Soros! 😉 So I tell the AD that I just can't do it and will wait for the 5164. He asks me if I'm sure and I say yes. He signals to his co-worker and within 30 seconds out she comes with a double sealed 5164! He says surprise! April Fools! Wasn't sure if I was annoyed or ecstatic or both. Probably both! Anyway
I find this when I open my 5131R package. 50% happy, another 50% get confused. Where is my 5131R when I first see the box?1s.jpgMy 5131G looks like this when I receive it.2s.jpgDo you see the difference?
Looking for a every day wear tank to rotate with my Submariner and am looking for suggestions. I¡¯ve got a big wrist so size doesnt matter and I¡¯m partial to ceramic, thanks, Jim
