Invicta 7168 wrist watches news:
It took me nearly four months to finish Lieutanant Philip Mitchell Niederaur's WWI trench watch but I think that he would be proud to see it back in this kind of condition! I did this restoration as close to 100% original as humanly possible. The dial looks SUPERB! Restored to the original Butler "off white" finish using the original Elgin dial die number 6! Even the lum has been re-applied to the military numerals and the hands. The movement has been overhauled, the case has a mirror like finish once again, I replaced the inner sleeve on the original crown so it has a nice firm "POP" now, new crystal and new band. This is pretty much exactly what the Lieutanant's watch looked like brand new back in 1918, 93 years ago while serving in the United States Naval Reserve Forces. The joined the Navy on July 18, 1917, 94 years ago almost to the week ! ! !Here is Lt. Philip Mitchell Niederaur's service record:Lt JG Philip Mitchell Niederaur Jr Ohio Military Men, 1917-18:"Name: Philip Mitchell
I am looking at a Rolex Daytona as well as a Omega Blue Seamaster 300M Chrono. I went into a local mall the other day and a store that mainly sells Tissot, Citizen and Seiko had a few nice used time pieces for sale. One was a used Rolex Daytona which the owner of the store told me had stopped working but was recently fixed. He was asking $8,700 and at the time I really was not interested. I have been searching online and have yet to find as good a price for that watch. The Seamaster that I like I can get for about $6,000 less but I find myself daydreaming about that Rolex especially since I know it is a good deal. Would anyone of you guys take a risk on buying a Rolex from a non authorized AD? I really was not in the market for another watch but it just looks to be a great deal!
hi guys, let us see some navitimer here
I was told that the Omega Speedmaster 9300 would wind (with the rotor) in zero gravity, any truth to that?
