I'm Holding Out
I know, it isn't right I have a BNIB Hamilton that I ordered from an online AD and received about mid December. Why I haven't I peeled the stickers off and worn it yet? Well, I'm waiting for the total on something unexpected that came up after I ordered it. No problems as I have until the 25th of this month to send it back for a full refund. But I really like this one and hope I can keep it. Any guesses :D

Watches and 'girly-wrist watches'.
I got this idea from another thread where someone remarked that a Cartier Blue was "girly" As a philosopher, it made me think. I think it is a very good topic.I think what was meant here by "girly" is 'lacking in maleness.' Let's say that is our working definition.I do think that many men wear certain watches to 'project maleness.' And I think we could agree on many watches that do this.I've never been one to worry much about 'maleness.' I've always noticed people like Ringo Starr who wore a ring on every finger. Some would say that this is not a projection of 'maleness.' But Ringo is married to Barbara Bach - maybe one of the hottest playmates of all time and a 'Bond girl.' So, I guess he was 'male' after all. I've always considered myself 'flamboyant'. I was a sports star when young - including football where I played offense and defense and special teams to the point that I never sat on the bench, so probably no one who knew me would have thought I lacked 'maleness.' Hello Omega Forum, When cleaning out some stuff with my fiances father I cam across a couple of watches. They are bnib without stickers because he has never worn a watch and these were clearly gifts. I was hoping somebody could help me out with what they are and possibly an approximate value. I hate asking for values but to be honest I havent seen anything like it especially bnib. First the speedmaster and then i have to get the pics of the deville later. Thanks!Alex

Ever since several members, AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! Have been talking about, as well as showing their lovely photos of their new 3940's. I have had the craving t get one.My first and so far only step at getting a Patek Perpetual Calendar was when I bought a 5140G about 4 years ago, at that time I thought it was going to be my finally watch!!!!Well,it wasn't to be and I did a deal which introduced me to the world of Mr FP Journe. But thats another story.Now from listening to what many members have said, and I have to agree the 3940 is a lot easier watch to read, so with that in mind I am considering trading my 5205G in against one, as and when I can find one!Please give me your thoughts on this craving and possible trade?Currently my 5205G is at the Patek service centre in the UK, having the dial exchanged for the lighter one and a light polish, so will come back looking like newPlease, fuel my desire my including as many photos and reviews as you like
