Audemars Piguet 26297IS.OO.D101CR.01 wrist watches news:
Would anyone have a WG Hinged Lug for an original Piping Rock. I'm hoping someone out there has a trashed case that I could salvage a lug off of.I pulled the trigger a little quickly on an eBay purchase today and I got a nice WG Piping Rock. However, my bidding finger went faster than my eyes and I ended up buying a nice piece, but MISSING A LUG.The seller also has someone who will make a new lug if necessary. I'm not too upset because I could always get my money back out of it, but I would like to complete the piece if I could.Thanks,Chris.
Been searching the forum looking for some feedback on this model. I like the looks and the light weight of this model and the idea of solar. But does the solar idea really work as well as it sounds? What are the pros and cons to solar?
What does that mean when you really, really miss one particular watch? Does that mean you found your personal favorite, beater, or one you want to be buried with? I rotate through my S-Waves, Monsters, Knights, Hamiltons, Orients, and others...yet I always miss the look & feel of my Knights:For me, it's the Seiko Knight, plain & simple, any color dial:Angelis
Wanted to throw this one out... Both are on my short list...Which would you rather have?...In my collection I do have a steel 5711 blue dial, would it be too redundant to have another? I've even considered upgrading the steel 5711 to gold while prices are crazy. Would hate to have regrets on that as the light weight of the 5711 makes it one of my most comfortable watches. Thanks,Pete
I am interested in purchasing a Bucherer Black Bay Bronze and wanted to see if anyone had suggestions on where to source.Any thoughts or direction would be greatly appreciated!
