I was in a vintage/antique watch store the other day and among the things I saw was the JLC Futurematic. The owner was nice enough to give me a few details about it and said in the end it was too expensive to manufacture which is why it was discontinued. Has anyone ever seen/owned one these? Have there been any copy-cat models by other manufacturers? Does anyone know enough to have an opinion about them as a watch?YouTube - Gangreserve Jaeger LeCoultre Futurematic Cal. 497 14k NOS
The Submariner is by far my favourite Rolex model, not to mention my first. Bought my 16610 in 1999, and it's been down hill ever since.
