Audemars Piguet 67601ST ZZ D002CR 01 wrist watches news:
A significant dateAngus Davies provides a ¡®hands-on¡¯ review of the new DuBois et fils DBF003-07. This watch features a big date complication with a visually striking bottle green dial.Throughout history, dates have been used to label momentous events. My parents and their peers would remark, ¡°Where were you when Kennedy was shot?¡±. The assassination of JFK, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, on the 22nd November 1963 was of huge historical significance and the date became etched on the minds of a generation. The importance of two digits which denote a date should never be overlooked. A forgotten birthday can be a source of much upset. Many men have been on the wrong end of a tongue-lashing for absentmindedly forgetting an anniversary. One or two numerals can mean so much. Sometimes a small aperture at 3 o¡¯clock employing a sole disc seems inadequate when it comes to conveying the importance of a date. A big date, which is technically more complex, bestows more gravitas than the typical indication
Dive watches are one of those categories that just about everyone seems to love, as evidenced by the sheer number that the brands are producing (as well as it being the focus of many micro-brands popping up lately). ?Alpina?themselves already had five other divers in their lineup prior to this new model being released. Their popular Extreme Diver 300 that we love now comes with a tweaked dial and bezel with orange colored markers. It isn't so much an evolution as it is a tasty new flavor. The Extreme Diver 300 Orange is Alpina's latest entry into the category - and actually, it's two entries. That's because they're introducing an automatic?(powered by the AL-525 movement) in a 44mm case with 22mm lugs, as well as a quartz-driven model (powered by the AL-240) in a 38mm case with 18mm lugs. While there are some notable differences with the movement and cushion case size, there are a lot of similarities to the two watches. For starters, both carry a water resistance rating of 300 meters, he

As some of you might know I was really wanting to get a Jumbo to have my watch trio, ok now have much more but am trimming. But Doing a little research I found that the JLC based movement, as great as it may be, has 1 slight problem, it needs regular lubrication to avoid barrel bridge wear/damage, so my question to the AP experts here and people who own this model and have had these issues, is:1. How often does it need servicing?2. Since it won't be my only one it won't get 100% wrist time, which means if for example servicing needs to be done every 5 years but I wear it only 4 months a year, I don't put my watches on a winder and will probably have at home my PP + Rolex for 1_2 weeks, the AP in the bank safe, and the contrary 1-2 weeks later so maybe the movement will be working 5-6 months/year, does that mean I can stretch the service delay to 8-10 years without risk or the fact that it isn't worn all the time doesn't matter as the lubricant will dry anyways, worn or not, and after so
I couldn't bond with my black dial Daytona. I wore it once and the legibility was an issue. As soon as I saw it I wasn't in love like I was with the rest of the collection, and that's when I knew it wasn't for me. I wish I could have tried it on before, but you know the story with that, no one has any to try.So..the fun money is back. What would you get for around $20k? Open to PP, AP and Rolex. I may get a white 500c, I knew all along I would like it better.Resale is important to me. I don't want to take a bath on it should I want to ditch it.Edit: decided to hold off for a bit. Gonna wait for something that really gets my attention; maybe Basel.
