Audemars Piguet 26030I0.OO.D001IN.01 wrist watches news:
As we've written about here before, Zenith has released quite a watch-making marvel with their ACADEMY Christophe Colomb Hurricane models. Here is a new limited edition set in honor of iconic individuals responsible for government reform and independence in South America. So say "viva la revolucion" with your best Che impersonation and get ready for a very "non people's budget friendly" collection of new stunning art pieces. With a fusee-chain transmission to apply constant force and, a gyroscopic gimbal setup to theoretically negate the effect of gravity on the movement, it's literally an award-winning watch with a new Latin twist. Given the amount of effort involved in creating these pieces, it's no surprise, then, that we're treated to small-run limited editions in the lineup.Their latest release heads down to Central and South America, with tribute being paid to Sim¨®n Bol¨ªvar (ref. 40.2213.8805/36.C714), Ernesto ¡°Che¡± Guevara (ref. 18.2214.8805/36.C713)?and Emiliano Zapata (ref. 34
OK, finally I got my third and most wanted Rolex up to date, but I found the date changing behavior a little strange...The watch starts to change at 12:04 midnight, and it makes a quick half change (you can see half of the current and half of the next date)Then stays in this position for around 30 minutes, and then changes completely to the next dateAlso, when adjusting manually, it does the exact same thing, doesn't have the "quick jump" as my other Rolexes...I think this can be due to the "non adjustable/syncronized" 24 hour hand, that reaches midnight together with the hour and minute hands...Is this normal behavior? My Date and Sub, quickly changes at 12:00Any opinions? or should I return the watch as malfunctioning? it's brand new from AD
Unfortunately my relationship with the amazing IWC Galapagos is not working as expected so I've decided to put it for sale and go back to a more simple watch, just plain steel, time and date.I already own a Sea Dweller, wich I admit it took me quite a bit to get used to it's weight. I'm finely tuned with it now and I barely remember it's there,do you think I may noticed the further weight increase wit the PO (42mm,bracelet) ??A lot of enthusiastic reviews on the web about the PO,but the weight issue is something always mentioned.Wrist test at ADs has been done several times, but you know the feeling...when you are at an AD most of the times emotions take over and everything seems perfect....
Hi there, I was wondering if it was possible to send my blue bond SMP to Omega for them to switch the bezel and face to black ones? Basically to make it look like the new black bond! Thanks for your helpDave
I have a dilemma on my hands. I have acquired these two beauties recently. My heart is telling me 16750 but my head is telling me 16710. The 16750 has so much character and patina, but I'm afraid the tritium will deteriorate. I will be wearing one daily so the 16710 makes more sense to me. Which one would you keep and why? Left - 1980s 16750 Right - 2007 16710 Unfortunately keeping both is not an option.
