- Beautiful watch, but hard to read the time unless in perfect lighting. I love the look so I kept it. It is a conversation piece too.

- I have had this watch for over a year and it still looks as good as new. It goes with everything I wear. It is also solar powered, so I don't have to get the battery replaced

This is simply an alphabetical list of every Hamilton model and the year it first showed up in the catalog. I'm thinking that this can be a useful template to create a database for future reference, for such things as movement listings, lug width, maybe even a photo of each model. It doesn't matter what. The template, once created, can be used over and over indefinitely, reduced by era, case size, shape, grade, etc. Please give this list a critical examination for any particular errors, like wrong years, Electric models not with the other Electrics, recycled names and their years, alphabetical order, missing models, spelling, etc. Thanks.0-size Cushion0-size Round60007-464010-464028-364028-464109-4Accumatic (1956)Accumatic II (1956)Accumatic III (1958)Accumatic IV (1958)Accumatic IV-B (1961)Accumatic V (1958)Accumatic VI (1959)Accumatic VI-B (1961) Accumatic VII (1959)Accumatic VIII (1959)Accumatic VIII-B (1961) Accumatic IX (1959)Accumatic IX-B (1961)Accumatic X (1960)Accumatic
Aside from my father's old Seamaster, all of my watch purchases have been Japanese or Chinese or some other -ese I managed to pick up my first Swiss watch today in a trade. While not a luxury piece, I think it is nice and it's something I've wanted for a little while. My LandMonster went to New Mexico and a Tissot PRC200 dropped by to take its place! This is not something I'll wear everyday, so the fact that it's quartz doesn't bother me much. Tissots are quite a departure from my standard Seikos, Citizens, and Alphas and are not something you often encounter in my (red)neck of the woods. The watch came with the bracelet, but I ordered a black Hadley Roma leather strap w/yellow stitching. I'm happy so far!
So I¡¯m looking at the final bid prices on some of these watches on the Phillips Auction site from November and they are incredible. Some pieces I get, but others like a 1973 SS DateJust went for $47,000!? Seriously? I¡¯d say $3,500 is the going rate. Also a PVD coated 2008 Milgauss for $87,500! Wow! Am I missing something. I think some of these bidders got caught up in the moment!
