IWC IW390211 wrist watches news:
I'm considering buying my first Rolex. Frankly I'd like something with water resistance of at least 300 meters and perhaps 1K. I'm looking for a good deal as well. Is there any hope? Any constructive recommendations will be appreciated. If this is the incorrect place to post the questions let me know and I'll post elsewhere.

Hey everyone. I received a watch from my uncle and I'm not sure if he said it was a collectible or a limited edition watch. The watch is probably older than 10 years. The brand is also Seiko. Please help me identify the watch. Much appreciated.2011-09-19%2009_28_17.jpg
Hey All:Getting ready for the horse race and was realizing that I have 4 watches that are essentially my go to watches.I started to think, that all of us probably have a go to watch or watches. So the question of the day is, what is it that makes a watch(or watches) one of your favorites, one that you want to wear above almost all others/I look forward to your responses.
I just purchased an immaculate 15300 from DavidSW. Phenomenal transaction as always. The papers are stamped 12/1/10 and the watch came LNIB.I spoke to a woman at the Clearwater SC and she seemed to be pushing for a full service and water resistance check, her reasoning being that the watch likely sat unworn for the majority of the 2 year period and maybe the oils dried up/sedimented/whatnot. As per the manufacturer recommendations the watch is only due for a water resistance check. So here are my questions:1. Is a full service needed at this point? 2. Do most of you perform the water resistance check like clockwork every 2 years (pardon the pun).
