Breaking News: Jean-Claude Biver Steps Down as CEO Of Hublot
We'd heard the rumors but couldn't believe it was true. Jean-Claude Biver, the man who has single-handedly made Hublot the powerhouse that it is, has stepped down as CEO. Replacing him will be his right-hand man and long-time managing director Ricardo Guadalupe, while Biver will remain on the board of directors, in fact he'll be Chairman of the board.  Mr. Guadalupe took over as CEO on Jan 1, 2012 and it remains to be seen how the loss of Biver at the reigns will effect a brand so closely tied to him. Swatch Group, Tiffany form watch alliance December 03, 2007 New York¡ªThe Swatch Group Ltd. and Tiffany and Co. announced today a strategic alliance to further the development, production and worldwide distribution of Tiffany-brand watches. Under the agreements, Swatch Group will incorporate a new watch-making company in Switzerland, which will be authorized to use Tiffany's trademarks and operate under the Tiffany name. The watch company will be wholly owned by Swatch Group. Tiffany will participate in the watch company's before-tax profits and in its governance, through one seat on its board of five directors and seats on both the product design and marketing committees. Many of Tiffany's notable watch designs will be continued and new designs will be added. Here is my story... I began to manually wind my 3 month old Omega PO and I noticed that it felt geary and not smooth when the crown was pulled out. On 10/14 I brought it in to Toureau with a copy of my warranty cards and they sent it in to the Swatch Group for me. Since only the Swatch Group and work on the new Co-Axial movement. After numerous phone calls Tourneau could never give me an answer or give me an update on my watch. Weeks went by... Then on 12/04 Tourneau called me and informed me that the Swatch Group has yet to fix my watch or even look at it be 'cause the date was not filled out by my AD when I purchased the watch. They wanted me to fax them my receipt which I did that same day. I was so pissed that I called the Swatch Group myself and spoke to Shawn about their poor customer service. He informed me (in a condescending manner) that it would be at least another 4-6 weeks before I would get my watch back!!! I currently have Jennifer with Tourneau talking to her regional re
