- It's nice to have a watch on my wrist so I can quickly review the time without having to pull out my GPS however that's about all I can rely on - the temp. is frequently off by 10-15 degrees (off the wrist) and the altimeter as much as 200 feet.

Patek Philippe 3800 wrist watches news:
Hi Folks ,I just read an article abotu Submariner Emerald and yes .it's make me drooling lolI'm curious about the price RegardsAndy
This grail just in! 2006 NIB Seiko 'White Knight". It took some finding, but like all grail hunts, it was fun and rewarding.I am totally smitten and, at the risk of lightening bolts, pestilence and plague, think I prefer it to my OM!Vendor's pic, my watch.stales
Sorry for the 'lousy' pictures but several asked to see the group so here goes. I'll try and take some better ones later. The two individual one's at the bottom have been borrowed by my Son and should be back tomorrow. Great weekends to all. Kurt Inbound ............
I own a lot of relatively less expensive watch brands... IWC, Panerai, Omega. I find that on my other watches when setting time, wherever I put the minute hand it stays there relative to the seconds hand once the crown is pushed in. However on my 44 RG Royal oak offshore (my first AP)... I have to set the minute hand about half a minute past the mark where I want it to end up (the manual even says to do this!)... seems crazy that for $45k watch there is so much play in the movement. I'm seriously looking at the 41 mm Royal Oak Chronograph also in RG as my next watch... do the other AP's also have this quirky movement?
Good morning allApologies in advance for a rather open question but I think this is the best place to askBought the Sub a year ago - what a watch! Now my wife has offered to get me another watch for my 50th in about a years timeI am wondering what to get though. Price would be around the same as the Sub and used is also a possibilityThe only Rolex I could envisage I'd a DJ (tried BLNR and Ln GMT when bought Sub, not quite right unfortunately)I don't wear suits, mainly smart(ish) casual. Have best diver already so looking for some inspiration. Thanks for any suggestions
