Bulgari BBW42C5GDLDAUTO wrist watches news:
hello all,i am looking at purchasing a breitling crosswind with a white face. the question i have is some of the subdials (chronograph) are a bone color and the numbers on the chrongraph are printed in a regular font. then, there is a white subdial, which i prefer versus the bone, but those numbers seem to be slanted (italicized). and then finally i have seen the slanted number on top of a mother of pearl subdial. what i want to know, is did they make the crosswind with white subdials and a regular font not the slanted font? thankshere is a couple of links so you can see what i am talking about.cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=260284957569cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=320272681665any help is appreciated.
I had the opportunity to find one Seiko bullhead 6138-0040 .Happily in good running condition ! It's getting to be a favorite and conversation piece than my Swiss watches !
Ok I have to admit that I know nothing of watches except that I can't afford much. I'm looking to get an everyday watch that is just as functional as it is nice to look at. I won't be able to wear it for work but I would like to wear it pretty much everywhere else. (I'm in law enforcement and wouldn't wantto ruin too quickly :D)I really need to keep the price under $500 as money is tighter these days. Here are the two watches I'm considering:I know the Citizen is an everyday watch and since I'm a diver as well its a great choice but I have to admit I've loved this watch since the first time I saw it and I love black watches.
I understand that one of the neat things about participating on forums on-line is that you don't have to divulge your identity. What I don't quite understand is why some/most people elect NOT to identify where are they from.We come from all corners of the world and have vastly different points of view on things. Some things are done quite different from one hemisphere of the earth versus another. We communicate via written words (and pictures) through this great forum, but I think we can actually understand each other much, much better if we know where each of us come from (or at least give us a hint).OK, off the soap box, just venting on a little pet peeve of mine that has been building up for a while. Moderators, I know this is not a watch topic, please delete or relocate as you please.
