Omega 2498-2 wrist watches news:
I took this pic in Copenhagen this Saturday:
The fine print in the manual definitely makes it seem like they're going to find some way to charge me for the repairs even though it has a five-year warranty, is less than a year old and randomly stopped completely despite ample exposure to light. We'll see what happens. Anyone had experience with Citizen's watch service, good or bad?
Hi guys,I am kind of new to the vintage watch game so I need a hand with this one. I picked this guy up for next to nothing so it doesn't much matter if it is worthless is still looks pretty cool. Sorry about the crappy pictures my phone camera kind of sucks. FYI inside of the case it says the words "Gold filled Unicorn" if that is any help to you.Cheers
I have what appears to be an older Lorenz watch.I can not find any info anywhere on its age/value. Any help would be appreciated.I'm not to picture savvy so will take time to get detailed pictures up, however the info/description i have is:windingon face:hour and minute handLorenz19 rubisincablocon movement:inoxydableswissmadeantimagneticantichocfondacier
Just looking for some views from everyone on my next pick up. Long story short the Day Date has always been my grail watch and finally it¡¯s time to jump on one. Originally I was totally sold on the Pink gold, Green dial 60th Anniversary Day Date but having recently tried on a different Rose gold Day Date I realised that the rose just isn¡¯t for me and my skin tone sadly. So now it¡¯s yellow gold for me with the gold face, for me the classic Day Date I remembered from my childhood. So it¡¯s a 228238 for certain... I was totally set on the numerals as I love how they fill up the dial but I¡¯ve been offered a great deal on a 228238 with the diamond baton markers. Thoughts please as I really need a few other opinions on this one.
