Seiko SNDE05 wrist watches news:
...or was there some pruning of threads last night?
I just received this watch the other day and I'm having trouble identifying it.It has a 980 movement and the watch is fairly wide. It's a little like a Milton but it's too wide. I've looked in the catalogs but its not jumping out at me. Any thoughts?
Greetings all - thought I'd share my Longines pair with you.First up - my Spirit Chrono:Love the throwback look that the font and colour of the numerals combined with the cathedral hands give this piece. Plus, I'm generally a sucker for two-register chronos:While the OE Longines strap is nice, I prefer the black on black look with this one:Next up is the latest addition - the Conquest Ceramic Chrono:The moment I picked it up I knew I had t have it. I suspect the AD knew it as well . Note to self - work on that whole poker-face thing. The dark and shiny ceramic bezel is what first grabs your attention, but my favourite part of this watch is the blacker-than-black lacquer-look dial. Honestly, it makes a lot of other black dial watches look a dingy grey in comparison.I also like the way the chapter ring for the minute totalizer cuts right through the "Big 12" so that its function is not compromised.A neat finishing touch is the matching black ceramic cap on the crown. And notice how
Hello, long time lurker, first time poster. I have an Omega SMP that I bought new from an AD 2 years ago. It is the most recent before the ceramic.Anyway, I don't wind the watch too often and when I do I am always gentle and slow so as not to damage it. Today I set the time and then went to wind the watch a few times. After each counter clockwise winding turn, the stem turns back at me about a quarter turn when I let go. I do not remember this ever happening. Is it normal for the crown to spin back toward me a bit with each wind? Thanks guys.
I will be purchasing a PO within the upcoming weeks. First off I have a 42mm PO with the new 8500 movement and ceramic bezel on order.Lately, I have been debating whether or nor I should get a 45.5mm.I actually had the 45.5mm Omega on my wrist before with the black rubber band with deployant buckle. I liked the size alot, but I felt that way because the rubber strap hugged it to my wrist and it was actaully comfortable. Now I want to wear the watch on a bracelet and that adds some heft and it also will fit differently. So, does anyone have some side by side pictures of any PO (2500 or 8500) doesn't matter which model, just looking for the size! Thanks!
