Roger Dubuis M 34 57 0 wrist watches news:
Hi therethe experience is not done yet.. but here is the first part.I found 3 very very small pieces of debris resting inside of the Daytona (16523) dial and I also found a small misalignment in the chronometer hand that moves when you push the chrono buttons (the arrow hand instead of stopping at the 12 hour mark when the chrono is stopped, it was stopping at the next tiny mark, the error can only be seen with a magnifying glass) .Well I called Dallas RSC and they told me to send the watch in (Last Monday March 9, 2009) so they could have a look at it, they said that before doing anything they will tell me what needed to be done and if it I needed to oay anything.I need to mention that the watch have been just serviced January 13, 2009 in the Canada RSC.Well yesterday I got a call from RSC to confirm that they have received the watch and that they saw the debris, they thought the misalignment occurred sometimes when the chronometer was stopped to the start position. I was wondering , up to what percentage am I able to negotiate off the price of the watch at an authorized dealer.
I recently acquired two PO8500s and also own a Sub C and DSSD. When comparing the PO8500 Ceramic head-to-head against the 116610LV Submariner I have observed the following with regard to the overall quality, performance and value...CASE AND CASE FINISH = TIEThe case finishing on both watches is excellent. The Omega does shine in two distinct areas. First, the sides of the case are brushed (which I love). When handling my watches, it is always the sides of the case that pick up the most fingerprints and hairline scratches. By horizontally brushing these surfaces, the Omega PO feels like a serious diving tool. Second, I really like the huge 45 degree chamfers on the case lugs, which give the watch great proportions and are also less likely to be dinged or dented if the watch is subjected to serious use/abuse. I do, however, prefer the darker gray appearance of the 904L case/bracelet as well as the pronounced crown guards of the Submariner case. The Submariner case is also quite a bit th
Hi guys, This is my first time posting and viewing the Patek Philippe section as i am a rolex guy. Last week i decided to drop by an AD PP, and saw their platinum collection. i liked the 5146P and the 5196P most and can't decide which one to buy. My daily watch is Rolex GMT IIc. I've never owned a watch with leather straps and i don't own a watch with a light dial (most of my watches have a black dial). Out of these two which one do you find more appealing?(picture are from the internet)5146 is the one with the moon Phase. Thanks
