I am like the watch paparazzi sometimes. Look what I saw being worn on the wrist of Christophe Claret, the very man who created this watch, and the name on the dial. How cool is that. Speedy - new vs old
Hi guys, I'm debating this right now. First, I love tritium and patina, but yet I'm finding I'm not very tolerant of watches in poor condition. I just sold my sapphire sandwich speedy, with the intent of searching for a Speedy with a hesalite crystal and tritium dial. Then yesterday, I got an older Rolex and was unhappy with a stretched bracelet and beat up case. I love the IDEA of vintage, but I'm not sure I have the patinece for the potential condition issues. Anybody else ever struggled with this?

Speedmaster Pro loose sweeping second hand
Hi all. My Speedmaster Pro has recently started acting up. When I start the sweeping second hand, it gets stuck after 2 seconds. If I stop and start, it will restart. When stuck, if I tap the watch against my hand on the 6 o'clock side of the watch, the hand will move to that side. I don't think the hand is loose because the issue is intermittent (wishful thinking).Thoughts? Anyone know a good watch guy in the SJ Bay Area?
