I've had a number of watches come in since June, but haven't had a proper incoming thread for any of them because my camera was KIA.I'll cover them in chronological order.1. Armitron Star Trek Collector's watchI saw this one on amazon last spring and really liked it. Automatic movement, skeleton face, display back. And for $120. I liked it, but not for $120. Then it popped up on the shark for something like $75 and I had to have it. Because I'm a geek. When I got it, I have to say that I was quite surprised by the level of finishing applied to such an inexpensive watch. The pattern on the dial wasn't shown in marketing photos, nor was the attention to detail paid to the movement. The watch sold on sale for $75 (which removed the Star Trek fanboy markup), which likely means that it costs about $10-$20 to make it. Does anyone know if they make a 1.5 link for the 5711? I have the stainless steel band- I'm kind of between link sizes. Tolerable wearing a little big but a 1.5 would probably be perfect.
