Omega Omega 40116 wrist watches news:
Parmigiani Fleurier’s manufacturing team has created both hand-wound and automatic movements, including the perpetual calendar, tourbillons, an ultra-slim model, chronograph, the Bugatti and the Hemispheres, but an annual calendar was missing, until now. It appears in the Tonda collection in a case measuring 40mm in diameter. The new complication is based on the brand’s PF 331 automatic movement, with the incorporation of a new additional Parmigiani module, creating the PF 339 Annual Calendar. The Annual Calendar automatically accounts for the variation in the number of days in each month. Only one manual correction needs be made each year, (for the month of February in non-leap years). In a leap year, the date will display February 29 and will automatically advance to March 1 the following day.The Tonda Retrograde Annual Calendar features a hand which indicates the date from 1-31 on the retrograde sector on the outer dial. The day of the week is positioned at 9 o’cloc
Presenting my new Hamilton. The talk on this forum about pocket watches inspired me to go buy this one today from the same dealer friend from whom I got my Masterpiece. It's a size 12 gold-filled model (the gold fill is guaranteed for 25 years - still looks unworn) from 1922 with the 17-jewel 910 movement. You push down on the crown to wind, pull up to set. It has a double back. You use a fingernail to open first one, then the other. They snap into place. I had to have a vintage gold chain, and it cost nearly as much as the watch. I've got $225 invested in it and I think a got a heck of a deal. I set it at the dealer's, went to lunch, took photos. It is keeping up with the Rolex I set it by.
Got my first AP today, just in time for the new sub-forum :) I've been really intrigued by AP and all the AP enthusiasts in TRF definitely got me more interested in the brand and their watches.I wanted to add a chronograph to my small collection as I've never had a chrono before, and after seeing the panda ROC in the forums I knew that was the one, and once I saw it in person at an AD I knew there was no turning back...and that it's a matter of time before I own one.And today I finally own my very own AP ROC - my first AP and actually my first white dial watch. I won't go into much details about this watch since it's familar to many of you, but I will say that this watch is a great size for my wrist, love the thickness of the watch (I like that it's slightly thicker than the 15300), and although it doesn't have a display back, I think the ROC has one of the nicest solid casebacks around. And I can look at the bracelet all day.Very excited and just thought I'd share a few photos with
Hi folks,My AD in Zurich has one on hold for me until April 10th. I wont be buying it as it is out of my league but they are happy to sometimes hold watches for me. Normally I ask them to do so for friends and they know I am not in the market myself for such fine pieces. The price is 256kChf before 8% vat refund.I thought I would give you all a heads up that there is one here in Switzerland. With current prices and exchange rates I wanted to share this opportunity.I am not selling it, have no financial benefits (or other benefits that I know of)I am not affiliated with any PP dealers in any wayIf anybody is interested I can forward your details. Fair warning: There is no guarantee of course that they will finally sell it to you, they do a vetting of new clients, asking about your collection/PP ownership etc, so I have no control over whether you will finally get it, but I could offer a chance to jump the lines.Regards,DP.S. I have a Rolex Explorer 1 and am looking to add either a Daytona or Sub to my collection. I’ve been debating this for a while but I really love both. Some thoughts:-No date sub and black Daytona only (no hulk, white dialed Daytona, other watches, etc)-Robustness, waterproofness, etc is not important (I have other watches, but I don’t want to post my collection and have people try to avoid overlap etc)-I understand they are priced different, let’s ignore that-not having a date is unimportant, I never look at it anyways. If you could pair either the No-Date Sub 114060 or black Daytona 116500 with an Explorer 1, which would it be and more importantly WHY?.
