Jaeger LeCoultre 261.11.10 wrist watches news:
Cyrus, a boutique high-end Swiss watch brand will soon unveil their new Kambys watch at Baselworld 2013 with a movement designed by the very well regarded Mr. Jean-Francois Mojon. Using a curved case typical to the brand, the 50mm wide watch contains an impressively designed movement produced (according to the brand) 100% in-house (rubies and all). This is also the very first timepiece that has been announced that will be part of the Only Watch 2013?auction in Monaco. According to Cyrus, the very first model in this limited edition Kambys collection will be auctioned off at the event in September. The most interesting element of the Kambys is the power reserve indicator. The manually wound caliber 7778 movement has a power reserve of seven days. It uses three stacked cylinders on the right-side of the case which slowly fall as the power reserve indicator goes from full to empty. We wouldn't call it a technical improvement, but it is merely something new and interesting for otherwise bore
I've had this watch for two decades or so and wish that I didn't like it. Aesthetics and comfort are great. Accuracy is adequate. The problem is that it periodocally stopswithout warningin spite of being worn 24 hours daily and having been sent in for repair/servicing many timesstarting in my first year of ownership. My latest "consult" advised me that all automatic watches require manual winding. Grasping for straws I've tried this, as per his recommendation, 2-3 times/week. Still the stoppage occursat increasing frequency. The watch is long out of warranty. I'm frustrated. Suggestions?
Well, as I expected, my AD failed again with my order, sometime ago, I ordered for christmas an Omega 3570.50.00 Moonwatch, and a Tag Heuer Carrera CV2014so, the end of the year arrivals showed up yesterday, and none of mine According to them, is a delay, and the watches will be here in january, and the list of excuses go on and onso I was very upset, untilThey showed me what they brought for the holidays, and voila, my christmas present will be this baby (not my picture, as the watch will be waiting in their safe until christmas I have to be patient for one time in the year )Rolex Submariner 16610, V serial number (with the Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex engraving around the dial :D) strange that Rolex still keeps this old picture in their website...Fresh from my 2010 purchase list, so I will swap the other two for this, and buy them when available in the next year...All in all, not a bad exchange, right?
Bit of a rushed post but can anyone help with a couple of questions1) what's the UK price of the 15400 black dial and can any discount be obtained?2) currently in Paris and the AP boutique have hinted at a good discount does anyone have any insight on what % I could expect?
Hi, I have been offered a Patek 5167 Aquanaut, used, 2014, approx 20k USD(Is it above the boutique msrp price?) Is this a good deal? Or should I just pass on it? Is the Patek Aquanaut supply demand situation is similar to the current Rolex Sport Models?Any advice would be really appreciated as it will be my first PatekThanks!
