Time for an update
Hamilton has been focusing more on new models and less on updating their vintage models. I can't blame them for this strategy. Companies need to look toward the future if they want to grow. However, I look at the Oval and can't help but wonder what a good update could do for this model. Maybe an automatic with an ETA 2895 movement. Would anybody else buy one besides me?

My WIS disease is getting worse....
For those of you who know me I'm a fan of larger watches, in particular RDs and Seiko divers.Over the last 3 days there have been 2 daily web deals on RDs. The price was so low they were almost free. AND I PASSED ON THEM!!!!:eek:What does this mean?!I'll tell ya what it means. I've just about scratched my Invicta itch.There are only 2 watches that I really want from them and they both require saving for. An SANIII with Valjoux 7751 movement and the othe is a Skeletonized Quinotaur RD with an ETA mechanical movement. Once I have these two I should be done withmy Invicta fetish....everything after that would be an impulse buy at best. Then I could concentrate on more important things like large vintage watches that I've missed out on or aquiring more watches of higher caliber than Invicta.I guess I've realized that I need to prioritize my WIS needs and an average RD just doesn't fit.
