Frogman question...
What's with the little canteen lid looking cap on the crown of the Frogman series? Is it functional or purely cosmetic? My guess is that it functions as a "screw down crown".

Ok I'm still in shock at the nice looking Vacheron Dennis aka (ulack) bought last week. I've also read he wants to buy a patek in the near future. So I was wondering what watch brand you like better and why. On one hand you have Patek to some to be the greatest watch company ever and then you have Vacheron to be the oldest.

Best 2-watch travel case or roll
Just curious to know if there is a 2-watch travel case anyone could recommend.I would prefer a roll type case because one of the watches is a leather strap bracelet that doesn't lie flat. I'd like to travel with a Submariner and a Big Pilot.Ideally I'd like something in leather or leatherette, with a focus on small and light, but protective.All of my searches turned up members' photos of larger cases...Thanks a lot!John

Hey guys and gals, I inherited this watch from my Great Uncle. I know the case is gold due to the expandable bracelet wore part of it down, but it doesn't have the typical Seamaster logo on the back. I know he had the watch for a very long time. It still runs, but it sounds like the rotors needs to be tightened and it needs a new crown and stem. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
