Hi,I came across this site while doing research for a new watch purchase and I have been amazed at the wealth of information and the helpfulness of the members. I try to make more of an informed decision these days as I have a greater respect for my dollar and where it comes from.I love the style of the Rolex Submariner but I can't see spending that much on a time piece at this point in my life. Luckily there are many options available with a similar look and style without that hefty price tag. Now, if you were able to purchase such a piece that is great and I would love to have a look. However, it's not in the cards for me. A friend told me to look into buying a fake Rolex and that just didn't sit well with me. I'm sure they have their place in the watch market but I'll have to pass. Also, the one he was wearing has stopped working and the idea of taking it to the local jeweler seems to give him pause. What do people think about Audemars Piguet?
I think I have two types of watches I love. One is of course Rolex but the other I've found out recently I love are Audemars Piguet (the ROO to be more specific). The design of the bezel seems not only rugged but elegant at the same time and I just love the ones with rubber or leather bracelet. They have a special touch to them. Just wanted to see what others think about it.
