Michele MWW03M000014 wrist watches news:
I was just explaing how watches are powered, and realized that I really didn't know how to explaing how a self-winder runs ......felt kinda stupid, so it's time for another of Salleh's stupid questions ! How does a self-winder work ? I know that with a quartz watch it's the battery that powers the watch ....and a winding watch is powered by the unwinding of the mainspring....( at least I hope that's how it's done, that's what I been thinking all these years) ....if someone can put it in simple terms, how does that automatic that I dearly love work anyway ? oh and I am speaking of the simple types not the ones that work on the $10,000 watches ....I live and sell in the world of $200 watches.....
Took these pictures last year & I still like them so thought it was the ideal day to reshare them. Don't have the watch anymore, but I'm wearing one of it's brothers, the Ball Worldtimer...Enjoy!!
Looking to get an original Omega brown 18mm croc strap with a rose gold buckle. Any ideas where I can source one from aside from going into an AD?
Does anybody on here own this one? Would like to see some pics if anybody does.
Hello there. I recently joined the Rolex club. A few months back I purchased a DJ41 from David SW for my 40th. I love the watch and was very pleased with the purchasing process.3 months later, and I'm noticing that my watch is losing 5 seconds a day. It's not a big deal by any means, but I know that Rolex is certified to +2/-2 seconds. The watch is under warranty, and the card has my name on it. I was wondering if you think it's worth bringing to the RSC? Again, I don't feel like the time loss is a big deal, but the watch was a major purchase, and I want it to perform at its best.Just wondering what the RolexForum community thinks. Thanks!
