Incoming tomorrow...I blame the Omega forum for this!!!!
Every time I come to this board, I see that great shot of the 2254.50 staring at me, beckoning me, pleading with me....."buy me," it keeps saying. Well I have surrendered to that picture. Tomorrow the UPS brown van will pull up and deliver a "previously loved" SMP 2254.50. I got a great deal on it (buyer claims it's only a couple months old) and am really looking forward to having what IMO is a classic Omega on my wrist. Pics will be posted, but from the ones I see here, it will be a challenge to do as well.

Carbon fiber strap questions
I am in the market for one to compliment my Lum Tec M20 which has a carbon fiber dial. I have 2 questions:1. Who makes an authentic carbon fiber, high quality strap. I don't want any cheap imitations here or some kind of material made to look like CF.2. Most of the "authentic" carbon fiber straps I've seen look like thatched black leather and don't have the nice, black and gray contrasting shades that the dial and real carbon fiber has. Fair Price of a serviced / rebuilt 321 Speedy
Hi all,Just wondering how much is a fair price of a serviced / rebuilt 321 Speedy?I have a '69 speedy 145-022 ST with 861 movement, and I got an offer for almost like new 321 Speedy with 1161 bracelet. I got a chance to meet with the seller face to face to inspect the speedy.Looking at the dial, it is new dial with batons etc. The hexalite crystal is also new (with the omega logo on the crystal). The case also looks pristine.The caseback doesn't look shiny with worn scratches but seems to be either a new or a replacement. My '69 is shiny but full of scratches.It looks like somebody bought a 321 movement and rebuilt everything with parts (maybe from ofrei).I know 321 is a holy grail and I want one too but what is a fair value / price for a not so vintage 321 speedy here. Sorry no pictures yet.Thanks in advance for any advice from all of you
