Omega Omega 27820 wrist watches news:
110 years ago today Wilbur and Orville Wright achieved the first self-powered flight of an aircraft with their plane named "Flyer." That was on December 17th, 1903 in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. In honor of this occasion, Swiss watchmaker Zenith has released a new limited edition aviator watch as part of their Pilot collection know as the Pilot Montre d'Aeronef Type 20 GMT 1903, and I never thought I'd be writing about the Wright Brothers twice in less than a week. Just a few days ago US-based Shinola released The Wright Brothers limited edition watches. While Shinola watches made in Detroit are technically more closely related to the Wright Brothers being made in relatively nearby Ohio where the Wright Brothers were from and also being made in the USA, I'd personally prefer this Zenith. Quick reminder that today is the last day to get the pre-order price of $780 for the cool new Dievas Vortex hybrid dive/aviator watch. I wrote about the Vortex watch previously here. Really one of my favorite timepieces this year, and a great value for the price. Made in Germany, Swiss automatic movement, 44mm wide titanium case, and 500 meters of water resistance. Check out the link to the previous article for all the details. After tomorrow the price for the Dievas Vortex watch jumps to $880.Pre-Order the Dievas Vortex watch here.

I had previously inherited my grandfathers Girard-Perregaux and my fathers Elgin. I have respect for the men that wore these watches, and I really liked the idea that one day I'd leave my son my Rolex. 11 years later, the old ExpII just doesn't do it for me anymore. It's a little rough around the edges, sure, but I'm also tired of the watch itself. Perhaps it¡¯s the white dial. I danced with a few other brands over the last year and chipped the crystal in a matter of weeks (the Rolex crystal looks perfect after 11 years). Finally, I bit the bullet and bought a GMTII on the grey for a very good deal. The GMT purchase was not nearly as pleasurable as the ExpII. I was worried about the authenticity. So much so I had it cracked open by a loc
