- Everything about this watch sounded wonderful and the look was great. Reality is - it is bulky, heavy, clanky and did not like the clasp attachment pieces. Just to . Still looking for the 'Great' Watch. This one is going back.

Omega Omega 16901 wrist watches news:
I was at my AD today and they had a selection that I have never seen before. They usually have the requisite DJs and a Sub and some TT Daytonas, but today they had a green Milgauss, white dial SS Daytona, Deepsea SD, LV sub, 16610 sub, a couple of Explorer II, GMT Master II Ceramic, Rolesium YM, a couple of DDs, and the various serti dial subs that aren't moving. No more waiting list for the SS Daytona, right there in the display window at retail. Things have certainly changed since last year at this time.Is this a common sight nowadays? I'm sure that it varies depending on location. I guess that it's no surprise, it's just a curiosity to me, having never seen that much variety in one place before.
None of us pays MSRP. Why would we? Some are lucky enough to be close to ADs which are, shall we say, consumer-friendly. I was wondering therefore how we buy our watches. Do we source out of state, over some distance, walk into an AD or whatever?OK pals, let's vote since it's the year for it and in time-honoured WTF and OMEGALand traditionTALKThe poll is set up for multiple options pals so you can tick more than one box Y'all have a nice Friday nowZIN

Hello!A new watch entered in my collection and it is an identical model than my father-in-law one: An Omega Seamaster 300 quartz, the watch that James Bond worn in Goldeneye in 1995.Its serial number start in 55.xxx.xxx, so, if I check on the Omega serial production tablets, it mean that both watches were producted in the same year (1995). But they are not identical because mine has tritium dial and the other luminova. I don't know if its original dial was change in a service work. It's difficult to see but there are a little differences between both watches. The luminova dial has a symmetrical 3 and a long F whereas the tritium dial has an asymmetrical 3 and a short F. In addition, the words on the luminova are thicker.A few pics. Sorry for the quality and for my poor english.Best regards. My watch with a nice patina The two watches. On your left, tritium. Right, luminova. After sun expositionTritium dialLuminova dialDiferences
