I was wondering if this is an easily achievable experiment to test the accuracy of my SMP 2220.80 with Cal. 2500C.1) Determine the intended beat rate of the caliber2) Place microphone next to watch3) Record the ticks onto my computer in wave format over a short time interval4) View/edit the wave file using an audio editor software5) Extrapolate to calculate the +/- seconds per day6) Repeat above for various positions.I am guessing most people would just reference their watch to something like Internet atomic clocks over the span of several days or weeks. But his experiment sounds like fun to mements?Thanks in advance.
