Invicta 1655 wrist watches news:
Hi GuysGot a new Black Bond Co-Axial and box for xmas and thought I would take a few pics of it along with my small collection (Including my two seiko beaters that have seen better days).Pics are a bit rubbish as I have a poor camera and im no photographer!!!!
Hey Milos,I'm curious as to find out how long it takes Patek to produce a 5146 (just estimates are fine) and approximately how many pieces they produce per year of just this model. Is it an even split between the gold models (J/G/R) and Platinum? Thanks!
I'm planning to get some winders as I'm tired of resetting watches or wearing certain watches when I don't really want to just to juice them up. I'd like to get 3 heads probably and I suppose Orbita is the defacto winner as it seems to be regarded as very good if not perhaps even the best.It seems they make 3 different machines for the job. Programmable. Sparta (weighted) and the Casetta (same as programmable?). Currently I have only Rolex oysters so I think 650 turns per day is right for me.I have AC available in the safe so that is not a major factor. Perhaps AC is even preferable as it eliminates maintenance down the road. Two that I am considering right now are the Sparta One Tesla Cherry $200 and the Casetta (Beta) $275. Getting three heads would be $225 cheaper with the Sparta, but it seems that it would be winding more than necessary. Thoughts? Other units I should be considering. Thanks Much!
The Bomb Timer was originally installed in World War II Bombers. In recent years collectors have taken to converting the Bomb Timer into a wrist watch by attaching a strap to the upper and lower lugs. The Bomb Timer measures 28mm at the waist and 35mm from top to bottom. From lug tip to lug tip the case measures 48mm. The outside of the case back is not signed or engraved. The inside of the case back is signed Keystone Watch Case. The original dial is black with two white timing rings. The top ring displays the hour and minutes of the hour. The bottom ring displays the seconds of the hour. The push pin protruding out of the top of the case is used to stop the movement-a "hack" feature used by the crew to synchronize time. The pointex hands were painted white so they could be seen more clearly on night missions. The crown and crystal are original to the watch. The movement is signed Hamilton USA 17 Jewels 980 G-284405. Can anyone suggest a source, other than ofrei, to buy a bracelet for a Seamaster Aqua Terra 44mm GMT chronograph?
