Hello fellow collectors, Im trying to get myself a new watch for my birthday soon and recently came across 2 watches which drive me crazy. 1. PATEK Gondolo 5124g, which I love the shape and versatality. Especially the curve shape makes it extra special comparing to most of other similar shaped. This watch is simple, well to go with any occasion in my eyes. 2. Patek Annual Calender 5205g, I love the lugs' detailing, absolute art piece. This is one absolute stunning watch with great combination yet so clean and simple. I will say this watch goes so well wth suit or semi formal attire. The question is, I see less love for the gondolo 5124g in forums or instagram. Is is the reason of the blood-line issue or because of the simple mechanism and people tend to lean toward complication mechanism? I love both watches, so deeply wish i can get both but ofcoz i cant. Service Issue
Recently I have had my Yacht-Master serviced. It��s a 2002 model F serial number and was purchased used in 2011. I noticed that there were scratches on the bezel, but it never bothered me. Seven years later I send it in to be serviced due to a vibration that was felt when I shook my wrist to adjust its position. When I got it back I see they had polished the bezel and I can��t make my mind up if it is something that bothers me or not. I��m hesitant to say anything but I��m not exactly happy.
