classy watch..only thing is that although its automatic it acts up sometimes when i set it being that i wear it once a week or so..still beats dealing with manual and it is a lovely watch overall aside from that minor issue

I was woundering why Rolex made the Yach Master in the stainless steel with a platnium bezel, But not the Submariner or the deep sea? Would'nt the platnium bezel be better on the other two watches?

Hey guys ! ! !I have had this watch case for quite some time now, about a year or so I think.Over the weekend I saw it sitting in a bin on my bench while looking for something else.When I bought this watch it did NOT have a movement, dial, hands or strap.................it was just the watch case itself.The reason I bought this case is because it has a very detailed inscription on the back side.Me, Adam & Greg LOVE to track these guys down if we can in order to find out who they where and what they did during the Great War.More often that not there will at least be a FULL NAME on the case back and possibly a year or a home town.This watch had NONE of the above making it INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT to piece together the puzzle.This watch inscription only had some initials of the former owner "C B", these are almost impossible to solve ! ! ! !Here is exactly what the inscription reads:" C B "M. Its worse for ceramic daytonas.Been on wait lists since last year...One local dealer here in Texas told me he had 20 on his list.Well, either the market will settle down, or the MSRP will go up and desirable SS sports models in the professional line will continue have scarce availability further exploding demand and price...Maybe the time to buy used is now before it gets worse?
