Invicta 10263 wrist watches news:
Please thank the winner of the Orient Excursionist watch from the August 2011 aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer watch giveaway for a follow-up image and comments. Congrats again to him:"So, and I've been looking forward to this, my Orient Excursionist was waiting at my doorstep today. The box was a little beat up - but that was UPS's fault. The watch inside was in another box, which was perfectly intact, protected by copious amounts of packing nuts. Orient packaged this watch nicely, in a presentation box with a riveted faux leather finish framing a stainless steel plate. My first impression of the watch was, "Wow, it's big!" But it really isn't, not after you put it on your wrist. (My wrist is quite narrow - I removed three links from the bracelet, and it's still a bit loose; still, watch is nicely proportioned and doesn't look out of place.)My previous watch was a Skagen, which I've been wearing for a while, so I'm really out of practice for such a chunky watch. Hey guys...just came across this speedy pro on the bay...with a 316XXXXX movement from the early 70'sthe guy later( after i emailed him) edited the listing and added Buyer should satisfy him/her self as to the date of manufacture of the dial, hands and caseback.I did email the seller and inform him that the movement and the dial were more than 30 years apart and i was told to mind my own business. Here is the link
I'm finally ready to invest in a quality "diver's" style watch and I'm torn between the Omega Seamaster and the Rolex Submariner. I will appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with both watches regarding accuracy. I'm almost "quartz anal" about a watch being accurate but I also want a mechanical marvel on my wrist, so I'm looking for the most accurate between the Rolex and Omega. Whichever one I buy will be in stainless steel. Thanks in advance for your help.
Hi there,What can you tell me about the quality of bracelets for 15300 APs? Are these prone to stretching? Are they solid link? How would this bracelet compare to the one on Rolex Daytona (ca. 2000 and newer).Thank you very much!
