Frederique Constant has something to be proud about. At the very least it should be something?that is exiting to fine watch consumers. While not the only company to offer relatively low cost in-house made movements, their new Maxine Manufacture Collection watches are beautifully made and feature a totally in-house made Swiss movement for under 2000 Euros. Typically the cost for in-house made manufacture movements is much higher.The new movement is the FC-700 automatic, and is the accumulation of over three years of development. What surprises me is the look and feel of the movement. The focus on aesthetics in the layout of the elements (such as the placement of the balance wheel) is complimented by a level of decoration not expected at these modest price points. The gold rotor, perlage and other polishing, and use of blue screws makes viewing the movement a pleasure. Your thoughts on my first Omega
Hello all,I'm really excited that I stumbled upon this watch form! It is great to have a place where watch lovers can get other's thoughts and opinions.I have been a watch lover for several years now, and am finally ready to buy my first nice watch.I'm looking at the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5mm, all black dial, and brushed stainless steel strap.I'm just starting to work on where I purchase the watch from. I have read several of the threads on grey market vs authorized dealers.I wanted to see if anyone has purchased their watch or had friends that purchased a watch from PrestigeTime?They seem to be a reputable grey market dealer. They clearly point out that they are a grey market dealer, and the watches that you purchase do not come with a manufacturer warranty. They do however offer their own 3 year warranty.Has anyone had to deal with a grey market warranty in the past? What were your experiences like? How did that compare to working through the manufacturer warranty?Tha

anyone have this on stainless steel band?
Hey guys,I am just trying to get some ideas as to how this would look on a stainless steel band, I was wondering if anyone on this forum had pictures of one.I don't get the same effect at the store holding the bracelet and watch side by side as I do with live pics on the forum.It originally came with the black plastic band.Any help would appreciated.almost forgot here is the picture...

Just strolling thru the mall with my lady. Of course, I go into Tourneau just to see what's there. I ask why the omega section is dwindling. Apparently, they are phasing omega out. Everything was 20% off. In my past experience, very Lorre discounting happening there. Anyway, I try on the 9300 ti speedmaster, blue on blue. I knew at they moment I wasn't leaving without it. I did some searches. With the 20%, the price was very competitive. I was shocked. But it had to be done. I promised myself no big purchases so I'll have to flip something, but no regrets. Pics don't do this beauty any justice.
