- I suppose my first clue this watch would be a blem is that it came with a manual almost an inch thick. Regardless, I bought this watch primarily for its altimeter. I was attracted to it b/c it uses a solar cell (no battery changes and recalibration every coupel years), and the Atomic time synching.
Unfortunately, the altimeter has never worked perly. At about 10,000 feet, it simply bugs out. Casio customer service could not figure it out, and now my watch is gone for the summer, having been returned to Casio for them to try to figure out the blem and repair it.
I originally owed a Suunto. I should have stuck with that brand. - ----

Bell & Ross BR 01-94 wrist watches news:
Ran one of my traps today, & found this. It's a '54 Lawton. Haven't tried to polish the case or Crystal yet, but the case is in VG to VG+ condition. No brassing or scratches. Caseback shows fine scratches. Very light scuff on the high point of the high domed crystal. Appears to be correct crown, not worn. Band isn't origonal but it is probably period correct, Donavon 10k GF. Will be replaced with a strap. The dial could be an older redial, not sure. One small spot just above the 5, otherwise, slight patena, but nothing I can't live with. Don't know how common these are, but it's the first one I've run across. Really a nice looking fancy case. It goes without saying that it's running strong, & keeping good time.Sorry about the bad picture, I'm still working on it.my watches 179.jpg
Now that I have a moonphase on the way, I would really like a movement that incorporates what day it is. Ideally a Rolex Day-Date would be nice, but wayyy out of budget.Lets see photos of this complication that will fit my budget, lets say under $300
Howdy. I was looking at pictures of the omega calibre 8500 and noticed a form of shock protection over the balance jewels that I have not seen before. Can anyone tell me more about? Is it an Omega invention and what is it called? Thanks!
I think the BB GMT for me yes i dont have the option of none, the Daytona with rainbow sapphires and diamond or the blue faced WG GMT II. i only have 10 options sorry. please write it in.
For me, besides the staff, I enjoy going there because drinks are always flowing and it is a real experience that is actually fun.
