Franck Muller 10000-CC-CH-KING wrist watches news:
When I first saw this new limited edition watch from Paul Picot, I thought that the logo on the dial looked a lot like something from my childhood. Check out the resemblance of Ben's lucky number 11 logo to that of GI Joe. You can't call it copying cause there is so much that looks like that. Military-esque style stars and USA colors? Never been done right? Being a fan of Paul Picot, and GI Jone, I thought I would write about it. Probably cause Ben Spies has a name that sounds like he would be a GI Joe character. I mean his last name is friggin "spies" (yes, I know it is pronounced "spees," but let me have some fun). It might as well be a verb. What exactly does Ben spy? Well the race track for the most part. The popular American MotoGP (and others) champ just might be "the real American hero" to some people. Don't forget the other MotoGP watch I wrote about here - the Tissot T-Race limited edition for NickyHayden. Most watches with "plongeur" used instead of diver seem to interest me.
I saw a timepiece at a local AD, and I think it may no longer be manufactured by Rolex. The watch was a 34mm Gents Date model (*not* a day-date), TT oyster bracelet, YG smooth bezel, YG crown. When I look here at the pricelist: minus4plus6/rolex-pricelists.htmThe closest I can find on the aforementioned model is the 115234 34mm Gents, WG bezel, with no mention of the TT bracelet. (page 1 of pricelist)Any thoughts?
Just got this Hamilton Military watch back from the watch doctor last week:I don't usually collect military watches, but this one came out nicely. Has a 987A movement that dates to 1944-45:Can anyone tell me what the engravings on the back mean?ThanksMark S.
I was reviewing my post on WTF/WRUW and my happy finger clicked on the photo and...voil¨¤ I was returned to my photo hosting service. All of my albums were open for viewing. I wondered if this was just me so I returned to WTF and clicked on posts by other members and there are LOTS of us who are unaware of the privacy settings on the photo hosting sights. It seems that the default settings of my hosting service allow anyone I send a photo to have access to my complete album. I made the privacy settings that I wanted, but they are not retroactive, that means that all the photo's I've posted without privacy settings will continue to give open access to my album.
Hi everyone-Can anyone ID Brooklyn Decker's watch?(Cue the "Who's looking at her watch?" comments)Thanks!
