I think my Wish List is too long!
A little while ago I did a SOTC post which has prompted me to do this one. I guess most of us have some kind of wish list, whether it is just a few ideas floating in our heads about what watch we would like next or, if you are a bit compulsive like me, a formal list broken up into categories (I'm sick, I know!) This is my list; I'm not sure how much of it I will actually manage to acquire, but it has been fun thinking about!Must HaveThe first few watches are on my "Must Have" list. The first one on the list is, of course, my Grail Watch! For me it is the Zenith Chronomaster Grande Date El Primero 03.0240.4010/01.C495. I first saw some seriously beautiful watches in some of the posts by Donut which got me looking into these watches. When I saw this one it just sang out to me! I have yet to see it in the flesh, which will be difficult as the closest Zenith AD is a 2 hour plane ride away. Anybody here have a ROO Grand Prix?
since receiving my 26400so last week I am amazed by how nice these 44 ROO's are on the wrist. After flipping my way through the 15400 2x, diver 2x, and a volcano I took a hiatus from the brand as I thought it just wasn't for me. Well I couldn't be more wrong Anyway I really love the look of the FC and especially the Grand Prix. I would love to here some feedback about the FC ROO's!!!

Quick Question about my Speedy
Is it bad to have the chrono second hand stopped at a position other than 0 (rest) for an extended period of time?I like to leave the second hand on 8 when I wear it but I am always resetting it to zero at the end of the day. I do this because I like to have an unobstructed view of the dial and because 8 is my lucky number.So is it putting unnecessary strain on the movement to leave the chrono stopped at a certain point with the brake engaged?Thanks in advance.

Back into the modern era, just...
Ever since trading off my Daytona and Hulk as part of a trade to get my holy grail watch (among other things), I've been longing for the sturdiness of a modern Rolex dive watch.I felt my pulses go up when the SubC ND came out, but then it was too close to the Hulk that I let go. It was a slightly different case when the SD-C 4000 came out. However, I felt it was more of a design variation of the SubC, rather than something technically superior like the DSSD, so couldn't justify spending the money.On one eye, I have been closely monitoring the 5 digit dive watch market, the 14060, the 16610, and of course the 16600. I was quite decided, that it was either going to be one that is a very early model with a weathered look and patina, or a near NOS last of the series release before Rolex went full-on bling with the ceramics. But the fact that I already have a 5513 from 1968, pushed my decision towards the Last of the Mohicans of the modern era pre-ceramic tool watches.As I was searching the
