Jaeger LeCoultre Q2651130 wrist watches news:
Chopard ¨C Happy DiamondsThe idea behind Happy Diamonds came during a woodland walk: a fun-filled and lively way to tell the time with diamonds dancing on a watch dial. Chopard unveiled the first model (a men's watch with a cushion-shape gold case and black dial) from a collection which would become iconic in 1976. 40 years later and the Geneva-based family business has given the piece a new twist for ladies.Chopard has freshened up the cushion-shape case with white gold (36x36mm) and a veil of claw-set diamonds. The dazzling rim frames a white mother-of-pearl dial where 15 loose diamonds perform, the famous Happy Diamonds. The claw-set gems spin around a central paved ring with small spear-shape hands. The hours and minutes are brought to life by a quartz movement.Price: 48,500 CHFBy Sharmila Bertin
Grabbed this based on a single bad photo and 10 word description. At $18 I figured worst case I could use the movement in another watch. Although I've enough experience scoping out auctions these days that I'm very seldom dissapointed, often I'm pleasently suprised.Joel
I am not big into Patek but recently I have been reviewing their line and trying to figure out what I might like if I decided to get one someday. I really find the 5960-1A interesting. It has an annual calendar, chronograph, and date night indicator all for under 35k on the grey market. When we consider that a 5711 is about 25k, you get so much more in the 5960-1A. What are the general feelings about this watch on the forum?
I'm thinking to get a 5205R-010 (Black dial in Rose Gold). But this watch comes only with a prong buckle. Can it be fitted with an original PP deployant clasp in rose gold? How much would the retailer charge for this rose-gold deployant clasp? Thanks in advance for your inputs.
I'm a big fan of the 16710 both in early form Coke on Jubilee and late pepsi oyster. However, I'm finding many average versions mostly on an oyster and prices are quite high, even those for those without box and papers. With B&P are either dubious sets or the watch has been over polished and the asking price will be silly. I'm hunting in Europe mainly but on these the paperwork rarely identifies if the original was black/coke/pepsi. So after searching for the last month mainly on C24 I have about 3 main options.A 1989 L serial Coke on jubilee, has been polished but waiting for photo's to guage the extent.A 1997 T serial - SWISS - T <25 dial - Drilled case - hollow end links on oyster2005 - SWISS MADE dial - Drilled case - SEL should have an etched crown crystal These run out 16710s have a lot of dial changes and two case variations. Where is the sweet spot for the future value? A 3186 is outside of my rangeIf the 97 and 05 watches are mint condition Pepsi with box and papers an
